“The Project-Based Dimension of Art” responds to the desire to document what lies behind the artwork—what anticipates its definition and birth—allowing the reader to discover the initial phase of the creative process. The exhibition path moves away from the centrality of a painting or a sculpture, a video or a photograph, and instead devotes itself to a careful selection of what is found deposited among worktables and bookshelves, among the archives and drawers of every studio.
