The “Caleidoscopio” Exhibition and Publishing Series marks a critical process aimed at recognizing the richness and diversity of art’s expressive heritage, accepting its variables that ultimately allow for its overall composition, suggesting comparisons and relationships between grammars and techniques, and fostering discovery and understanding, rediscovery, and originality beyond fashions and trends. The “kaleidoscopic” process of contemporary art culture must continue to engage closely with the historical dimension that has bequeathed us the complex dimension of its heritage, articulating within it artists once known, now forgotten, and subsequently rediscovered. Its greatest expression, however, is the presence of anonymous artists, the fruit of those small workshops and printing houses, laboratories, and ateliers spread throughout Europe.
