BIOGRAPHY
Andrea B. Del Guercio was born in Rome in 1954, lives between Milan (I), Freibug (D) and Camaiore (Lucca I).
Graduated in History of Medieval and Modern Art at the University of Florence in 1978.
He held the chair of Contemporary Art History at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, where he held numerous positions, such as Director of the Schools of Painting, Coordinator of the Institute of Theory and History of Art.

Conceives and produces a series of traveling exhibitions across Germany (Freiburg), Italy (Padua end Avellino), Denmark (Copenaghen), and China (Hangzhou).

He has held numerous roles as Artistic Director in the international museum and exhibition circuit of modern and contemporary art; among other things he directed the Modern Art Gallery of Forte dei Marmi (Lucca), the International Sculpture Symposium of Carrara (Ms).
He has taught at the New York Studio School and lectured at universities and museums in the United States, Germany, France, Switzerland and Austria.
He has published monographs and volumes dedicated to the history of contemporary art for various publishing houses. Curator of Exhibitions for European Museums and Galleries.
Artistic Director 2014-2020 of the Five Gallery in Lugano (Ch).
Since 2007 he has specifically dealt with the ‘accessibility’ project extended to the contemporary art system with the creation of private and public collections, becoming one of the leading experts in the art advisor sector; an activity that is characterized by the presence in the global system of artistic production of the new generations and by the affirmation of a different collecting.
Artistic Director and Consultant of Art Galleries, Foundations and Companies for the creation of Collections of Contemporary Art in the financial sector (Banca Sistema Offices in Milan and Rome, Morningstar Italy, Barclays Italia. Bellco-Medtronic Italia, Iltex Italia, Tecno Design, Farmaceutica Ganassini).

Critical activity has focused on a few major themes, creating exhibition and publishing projects, often internationally distributed, which have developed over time, spanning a wide range of venues, from museums to galleries to design showrooms.
