Sonja Edle von HoeβleLandscape painting and designed sculpture
The process of discovery and later of deep understanding of the works of Sonja Edle von Hoeβle followed distinct phases, which only today find their totality in the exhibition system of the Gallery and in this edition. The critical activity, provoked and stimulated by her sensitivity, connects the moment of discovery directly to the research of confirmation and verification in the visiting space. That first element starts in the complex and kaleidoscopic context of the International Art Fair in Karlsruhe and it takes inspiration from two small sculptures, one placed elegantly against the wall and characterized by a gold patina and one of warm red-brown color as a fine result of the oxidation of corten steel placed on the floor.
